Island Arts Center is a non-profit organization where island residents learn creative skills, earn a fair wage and participate in a variety of specialized art therapies. Our Mission is to expand upon an opportunity for island communities to
engage with each other and with the visitors coming into island areas.
IAC is a workshop, a classroom, a visitor center and a shopfront where island locals can engage with the tourism market.
IAC aims to promote and facilitate a visitor experience that is integrated with locally sourced historical accounts of the island culture.
IAC creates and supports social programs and provides advocacy for island locals to benefit the global island community.
IAC is designed to use locally sourced materials and sustainable objects for crafting and selling souvenirs and handmade goods.
IAC is proud to help connect a global network of island artists and provide an umbrella of services to support emerging talent.
IAC is destined to be a place for healing, utilizing many art based therapies to offer therapeutic services to island communities.
